RENEGADE SEWING

This weekend I’ll be setting up shop at the Renegade Craft Fair. My friend Maria is flying in from NOLA to split a booth with me, so the weekend is guaranteed to be fun, and hopefully quite lucrative.

My sewing machine died mid-stitch this week, so I ran out and bought this new Singer. I had to have something right away to finish my market sewing, so I think this will only be temporary, but it’s handling my coiled bowls so much better than my old machine. And I must say, I really like the boxy design. I may wind up holding on to this machine as a back up.

EXISTENCE CONTINUES

I made it back safe and sound from Burning Man, but my camera did not, which is one reason I haven’t been updating. The other reason is that while I’ve certainly been busy, there hasn’t been anything too interesting to post. I’ve been taking it relatively easy, focusing mostly on client’s projects which I don’t feel compelled to share.

I will be getting back into the swing of things soon, and a new computer and new camera will help keep the updates fresh.

RENEGADE WAS A BLAST

Thanks to everyone who came out to Renegade this weekend! I had a great time sharing a booth with Shing and we were both able to make a nice little end-of-year bonus.

I’ll be busy over the next couple weeks replenishing my supplies (I sold out of my bowls!) and posting all the new goodies here and on Etsy, so stay tuned.
